The family home was demolished and converted into a contemporary dual occupancy development to maximise the value and potential for the site. The Mother was to live in one side while the eldest son and their growing young family was to live in the other. Custom and unique details were incorporated into the overall design – a unique fascia and gutter detail was created, along with cantilevers, 2-story voids and the use of raw materials; all contributing to an exciting facade and allowing for a point of difference within the streetscape.
