Dover Heights Family Home

Contemporary alterations and additions to the existing 2-storey dwelling were explored with a complete refurbishment of the existing family home. The floor plans were reconfigured to create more functional spaces and make better use of their spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Heads. By providing a strong connection between the pool, alfresco and internal living spaces, entertaining guests has become effortless due to the changes in levels and rearranging of the spaces. A contemporary material palette was utilised where we explored the combination of recycled brick work, exposed hardwood screening, charcoal cladding and cement render.
